Funding Criteria

Initial Approach
The first step in making a funding request to Winds of Peace should be made by reading the Foundation’s mission, program areas, and funding priorities. If you determine that your organization may be eligible for a grant or loan, you should fill out our one-page “Proposal Summary Form” accompanied by a one page letter of inquiry. (This form is also available via e-mail.) The Foundation staff will review your completed materials to determine whether to invite a full proposal.
Inquiry Deadline
Letters of inquiry with the completed “Proposal Summary Form” may be submitted at any time during the year and will be considered for the next funding cycle. See the table below for funding deadlines.
Proposal Deadline
There are two grant cycles each year. Due dates are shown in the following table.
