Social Movement
WPF seeks to help the people of Nicaragua create the initiatives and momentum necessary to empower a broader segment of its citizenry, economically, socially, politically and in all the ways that individuals can contribute to the health of society at-large. As social movements emerge from the activities of individuals or associations, WPF is attuned to these movements for possible support. WPF will continue to examine new models, such as further work with cooperatives or other forms of worker-involved enterprises Issues of inclusiveness, breadth of impact, sustainability, transformational potential and feasibility for success are considered material factors in the decisions to fund any such proposals.

ORGANIZATIONAL WORKSHOPS
Winds of Peace Foundation has employed the Organizational Workshop methodology as created and implemented by Clodomir Santos de Morais, and as described in his book, A Future for the Excluded. The Foundation has introduced this concept to two partner cooperatives, in both cases observing significantly positive group and individual learning impacts. The Foundation is exploring opportunities to bring a variety of ownership practices and attitudes to organizations with whom we work, to contribute to an enterprise environment of greater participation, transparency, accountability and independence.
