Pedro Cerón and Omar Falcón

They are 2 producer families from the community of Santa Ana, located nearly 8 miles from the town of San Juan del Río Coco. They harvest coffee supporting one another, pulp, wash and dry the coffee using family labor. They are families with the highest yields (quintals per acre) in their community and are strict in their management of the coffee: cleaning and selection of the coffee, attentive to the management of plant tissues and renovation of damaged plants. They are families who are organized on the basis of friendship. “A friend is worth more than anything” they say. Their coffee witnesses to the friendship between between people doing their best to be concerned about good quality in their export coffee.
